My name is Haley, people at school normally call me Haley, but outside of school I have so many other nicknames! Let see my parents call me JoJo or Shorty. They call me JoJo because Jo is my middle name, but Shorty I have no idea why they call me that. It is probably has something to do with when I was a baby. Who knows? One of my best friends Abby has a thing for calling me Blondie, there is a wonderful story behind that one though!(: So first of all we will always go on walks like no joke! Year round! Our neighbors deliver the papers so we see them everyday when we are walking. We added them on Facebook and we talked to them about every night. At first they didn’t know our names so they would call me Blondie and abby Brownie! Don’t ask! Anyways back to my story. So one day Abby was outside and they yelled at her and they were like “Hey Brownie, where is Blondie?” She called me as soon as she got inside and she was like dying of laughter. I don’t know if you will find that as funny as I did, but that is probably because you don’t know them! Back to my nicknames. One of my best guy friends, he is like a brother to me. He calls me Halae JoJo. Thats another long story, but I won’t fill you in on that one. Let’s just say when we hang out and get prank calls he likes to talk in british accents!  Another of my guy best friends calls me Haley Jo Canned Ham Spam. That is just something he came up with. I guess he is just like that!(: You just have to love those people that give you the most random nicknames for the most pointless reasons!

If you haven’t noticed in my posts before, I love softball. Softball is life! In my opinion there is nothing better than softball. I live for softball. Now that I have introduced that softball is life , I will start to tell you about what I love so much. I play 3rd base, I would play outfield but I can’t play that far out because I have tendencidious burrcidious in my shoulder. It is an issue that affects the tendons in my shoulder and upper back! After a few long throws, I would be out for the game and possibly even the week or weekend. So they put me up close. I will have to be wearing a mask this year, it doesn’t really bother me because I won’t be the only one wearing it but it will feel weird for awhile. Our coach is planning on playing tight, which means 1st and 3rd will be playing tight in towards the batters. That is very dangerous, but my coach thinks that we will avoid the injuries and just play the game we live for. I also play shortstop…not my favorite! My coach put me there last year because she said that I had the speed and abilities to move quickly towards the ball or second and third base. That boosted myself esteem. She knew I absolutely hated playing shortstop, but yet she put me out there. I would complain quite a bit, but she just left me out there and complaining didn’t help me get out of that position. I have gained more skill at that and I also have learned to like that position more and more. It still is not my favorite…obviously 3rd is…but I guess you gotta do whatcha gotta do! I will be playing on the 14 and under teams this year for the second time, last year I was suppose to be on the 12 and under team, but the 14′s needed a 3rd baseman and they thought that I had enough skill and strength to move up to the older team and show those older girls what was coming!

Other than just sports in my life, my family and friends are a big part! Starting with my dad’s side of the family. My dad’s mom and dad live in the same town as me and I go there everyday after school. My dad is the oldest of 3 kids in his family. He has a younger brother, Jeff, and a younger sister, Kathy. My Uncle Jeff lives in Illinois and is married to my aunt Jane and has 3 kids of his own, Jennifer Jessica and Jordan. Jennifer is 27 and Jessica and Jordan are 24. Jessica has 2 little girls and is in a relationship with one of my most favorite people ever, Patrick! My dad’s sister lives in the same town as me also. She is married to my uncle John and also has 3 kids, Alesha Jarod and Brooke. Now for my mom’s side of the family. My mom’s mom lives in the same town as me also. If you didn’t notice I did not say dad. My mom’s dad died when she was a little girl of a heart attack, I have never met my grandpa. Anyways my mom is the youngest of 3 kids. She has 2 older brothers, Paul and Joel. My uncle Paul lives out in the country near me and is married to my aunt Sharon. He has a kid named Eric, and Eric is married lives in Colorado and has 2 kids. I have never met this cousin either. My mom’s other brother lives in the same town as me also, he is married to my aunt Astella and they have a son named Seth. Seth is the only cousin I have met from my mom’s side of the family. Now my family…I have 2 younger brothers named Brian and Travis. Those 2 are pains in the butts. Me nor my brothers have any kids of our own..obviously!
